What can be causing my abdominal pain?

These are useful and collceted by GERD!

What can be causing my abdominal pain?It all started appx 6 weeks ago. I remember feeling nauseous for the first 2 days, then on the 3rd day feeling intense chest pain. My company even sent me home in a car, because I was doubled over in chest pain. I went to my primary care doctor, and he gave me an antacid, prilosec. I took it for a few days and didn't feel that it helped. I then made an appt with a gastroenterologist. He sent me for a right upper abdominal sonogram (to rule out gallstones). He took a breathe test, urine test, blood test, and EKG. Everything came back clear. I then went for a 2nd opinion to a different gastroenterologist. He wanted to do an endoscopy. By this time the pain had also spread to my stomach. After a few days, I felt myself getting better, and I had a cruise booked for 1 week right after, so I decided to let it go until after the cruise.

On the cruise I kept getting bouts of severe abdominal pain. I would be doubled over in pain and would have to lay down. It usually lasted an hour, and came 2-3 times a day. The first time the pain would come would be around 2, then it would come around 10pm. Sometimes it would come in between. I went to the dr. on the ship, and he gave me pills to block acid from developing. He couldn't really do much, but recommended I go to the ER at one of the cruise ports. I decided not to because I felt they would only be able to diagnose me and not treat me, and quite frankly, I didn't want to ruin my friends trip either. Most of my trip I was fine, and I would just have to endure bouts of pain a few times a day.

I just came back from the cruise on Saturday, and I went to the ER as soon as I returned. They said they didn't see anything, and that it is probably just gastritis (an inflammation of the stomach lining). They told me to get the endoscopy. I just got my endoscopy this morning, and the dr. said I have GERD and acid reflux. They took a biopsy as well, but I will find out those results in a week.

I never felt the pain right after a meal, sometimes it would even be before a meal, but I was usually fine in the mornings. Looking back at it, the fact that I had pain 3 times a day, and I ate 3 meals a day, may not be a coincidence. But sometimes I would feel the pain right before dinner. I was told to try to eat smaller meals, but that is really tough to do on a cruise. I should probably also mention that once in a while I binge eat (probably like once every 2 months - not often at all) - I think this is some sort of disorder).

I am not convinced I have GERD. How do you just wake up one day and have GERD and acid reflux? I used to get occasional heartburn after drinking Orange Juice, but I would feel it mostly in my throat. Sometimes it feels like intense menstrual cramps, so part of me wants to schedule a visit with my gyno.

Do you have any idea what this could be? I am very frustrated and nervous, and appreciate any input you may have.
