GERD edited the following:

are these post MONO Sypmtoms????i am 20 year old male and was diagnosed with mono in february and actually had swollen/tender lymphnodes for previous months leading up to that. i felt a bit weak and had quite a few sore throats when i had these tender lymphnodes in the months leading up to being diagnosed, i quit smoking. now its been over 3 months since i was diagnosed and my CBC is normal, but i still feel awful most the time. had CT scan on neck, but doctors weren't concerned with the size of them even though one under my jaw is hard. i have constant headaches and feel foggy and feverish. it seems that i have lost quite a bit of hair and i have a very visible scalp. no appetite at times and have been diagnosed with GERD recently. at times i tend to have blood tinged spit for no apparent reason. sinuses are fine and same with a chest x-ray. i have eaten healthy and forced food down to maintain my weight which isn't much to begin with. i have vomiting periods that last for a few days every now and then.anyknowledge?

Firstly, mono symptoms can last more than a year. It's a general feeling of illness. For some people it can be very strong. Lethargic to the point of not being able to get out of bed. The best solution(even though, as you know there is no cure) is to get as much rest as possible. The blood tinged spit could be coming from your throat, with swollen lympnodes it can cause minor damage to your throat and tonsils and possibly your gums.

I had mono and I didn't have that many symptoms during or after. I definitely had the sore throat and the weakness and just overall exhaustion, which definitely lasted a long time. And ever since I actually have had to pee more frequently than before, but I didn't lose hair or vomit or any of that. I'd say maybe go to a different doc and get a second opinion.
