15 year old - feel a "quiver" in chest lower left of chest?Really randomly when I'm sitting down or other times I will feel a small "quivering" at the bottom left of my breastbone. I am 15 years old and I went to the cardiologist in february to get a checkup for my mitral valve prolapse. I have newly been diagnosed with first degree AV block and my MVP is in good condition. I had an EKG last week for fear of a heart attack and a chest x-ray, with no problems. The doc at the ER said it was GERD. Is that what i'm feeling? Also, a lot of times after a small strenuous activity, my heart will beat normally then out of nowhere for a couple of seconds beat really hard and slow like "bump bump BUMP---BUMP---BUMP---bump bump bump" I do also get pains that last a couple of seconds on the left of my chest and an almost constant pain under my left collarbone.

I had the same symptoms and they ran all the ekg, eeg test, then had upper GI and found I had a hiatal hernia. Feels like heart, but actually stomach and esophagus. Good luck!
