what are all the symptoms of gerd?I have shortness of breath and a cold burning feeling in the chest and I also get dizzyness and a faint feeling and I was wondering if any one else with gerd feels all this of any other symptoms.

I have severe GERD but I've never been dizzy or faint. You could be suffering from angina or lack of oxygen to your heart. You should be checked out by a cardiologist ASAP!

Its common, and can get worse of course by what you eat and worse by lying down after you eat. Some of these symptoms are similar to MI issues (heart attack). Get a stress test done with your DR. sometime if you haven't already. Some people have GERD and think these sympotms are from that and then come to find out they have been having MI issues and have a 90% coronary block.
