prilosec OTC and digestive enzymes?

prilosec OTC and digestive enzymes?Can you take digestive enzymes along with one 20mg ppi daily? Or do you have to come off ppi's in order for the digestive enzymes to function properly? I read that acid can be a result from low levels of digestive enzymes so im taking supplements to replenish my enzymes and hopefully stop this GERD but it flairs up in the mornings so I start off with one ppi and use enzymes thoughout the day. Is this ok or should I just use enzymes. Thank you

I am in the same position and was told by the doctor that you can take enzymes or ranitdine while you are taking prilosec but not at the exactly the same time. Which is what you are doing. They would counteract each other taken too close together.
