Why is it that when I drink alcohol my feet itch and I can't get drunk?

Hi,I did the following:

Why is it that when I drink alcohol my feet itch and I can't get drunk?If I have more than one drink, my feet start to itch insanely (sometimes my hands, too). If I continue to drink, I get a touch of heartburn, and I never actually start to feel buzzed. It seems to be worst with wine but holds true for all alcohol. Is this an allergy or what? I used to be able to drink like everybody else.
Yeast allergy sounds possible, thanks! But it's the first answer that hits the nail right on the head.
