Severe reflux in a man with recurrent hoarseness with upper respiratory tract infections. He could manage with one insult to the larynx but any URI aggravated preexisting larnygeal edema. Exam demonstrates severe posterior commissure edema, ventricular obliteration and the true vocal fold is hard to identify in the background edema.
