Problems with xanax, chronic migraines, and GERD.?

Hi,I did the following:

Problems with xanax, chronic migraines, and GERD.?Ive had acid reflux for years, over the last 2 months its been pretty bad. Acid in my asophogus, chest, where the breastbone is, and up to my neck and throat. I have been on Nexium for about 3 weeks, small improvements, but still horrible chest pain. It would hurt so bad my heart would palpoltate, and id have i guess you can say panic attacks. my heart would race, chest would hurt, had trouble breathing, feet were numb and tingling, felt weak and tired. I eat once or twice a day, it hurts no matter what i eat. The doc put me on xanax about 2 months ago due what he claimed was anxiety. The past 2 weeks ive had this killer migraine that i cant shake. Ive taken all kinds of migraine meds, the doc told me due to me being dizzy is why i have migraines, gave me some dizzy pills, that made it worse. Theres tons of pressure in the front of my head, top, and sides, worst is back of the head, neck area. Ive tried all kinds of gerd diet tricks as well.. help? Thanks much friends. :-(

Get rid of the regular docs and start consulting specialists.

1. Gastroenterologist
2. Neurologist
3. Psychiatrist

If their meds are not working, and they can't help you in a reasonably short period of time, fire them and get new ones. Keep looking until you find doctors who can help.

First of all find out how to get off xanax consult with a Dr on how to get off with it- do not just quit!
I personally feel that You dont need xanax and if you are having side effects I say quit now!
Here is what I think is going on with your headaches-- REBOUND HEADACHS - they CAN be as bad as migraines

definition in simple terms:
"rebound headache is a headache that you end up with just because you go in search of a little relief from the constant pounding in your noggin. ...You feel bad, so you take a pill — you feel worse, so you take another, and so on, and so on, and scoobie-doobie-do. Basically, you wind up with a headache because you're overusing medications

I want to suggest this: Please go to a Gastroenterologist and ask for an exam, tell him you think it is your gallbladder-

I am convinced and will bet on gallbladder disease.and Surgery was easier then I thought it was going to be BUT I AM SOOOO GLAD I GOT IT DONE! I know exactly what you are feeling and I am convinced!
they removed it and I threw those meds away and was able to eat again!!!
I ate the greasiest foods after surgery and I didnt get sick! and No more heartburn. I thought I would never say I hated pizza- but after surgery - it became my best friend-lol

CALL FIRST THING TOMORROW PLZ
I can share with you the tests, etc if you are interested- and the best thing was that they had told me -"the traditional cut" for gallbladder but they were able to do it laproscopically- so Recovery time was MUCH faster!

Your symptoms sound so much like mine -it's not funny.... I am giving the utmost honest opinion and hope that you will consider calling First thing in the morning.
The chest pains are nothing to fool with--oh yes, I know you dont want to, but try and keep hydrated- that could be causing the extreme heartburn ---

Good luck and I hope you consider this
