misdiagnose about pregnancy?i am almost 11 weeks pegnant right now...last April, i go to doctor because i feel some strange feeling in my stomach, she diagnose me that i have a GERD (gastroesopagheal reflux disease) and prescribed me a MOTILIUM (AND ZANTAC (ranitidine) and almost take it for almost 3 weeks...(without knowing it, was on my CRAVING PERIOD)...its too late before i got noticed that i am pregnant. (that means misdiagnose because at that time, i was craving)...will the medicine that i have been taken (motilium and ranitidine) will affect my baby) ? the other one is i also took contraceptive pills (maybe im in my 5 weeks) will it affect my baby too? please answer me

These are really both questions you should ask your doctor. I don't think that contraceptive pills affect the baby, but I don't know about the others, you really need to check with your doctor about it.

the only part of your question i can answer is regarding taking the pill. My oldest son was a "pill baby" i took them without knowing i was pregnant (kept having periods, no sickness, no weight gain) then all of a sudden i ballooned out and i thought i had a tumor. went to the doctor and had an xray and was 7 1/2 months!!! my son was born perfectly normal and is now 6' tall, weights 240 lbs and will be 32 on his next birthday. good luck to you

Call your Ob asap and ask if these medications have any affect on the baby.
