GERD Question???????????????Why would the doctor ask if Im having headaches and if I have experienced tingling if I was diagnosed with GERD

Reflux can sometimes include aspiration into the lung and thereby causing a drop in oxygen uptake. If you have otherwise normal airways the headache and tingling question could be about that. Not only can GERD screw up your stomach, esophagus, trachea and lungs, it can and will rot your teeth right out of your head. Best to get this taken care of. Until that time try sleeping in a head elevated position if you can, especially if you sleep on your back.
