Anxiety, GERD, or Heart Problems?

GERD edited the following:

Anxiety, GERD, or Heart Problems? For the past 2 months, I have had a variety of symptoms that are spawned from something I can't quite figure out. It all started with an anxiety attack while eating one night. I went home, tried to relax, then for the next 2 to 3 weeks I had this constant anxious feeling I couldn't get rid of. Symptoms involving chills, nausea, a lot of disorientation, constant migraines, throat felt like closing up, rapid heart beat (especially right after standing), and just scared for life man. It was and still is frightening. ER thought it was just anxiety, and also said I was dehydrated. Drank tons upon tons of water/gatorade. Never felt any different. Just gave me a worse headache. Then at the 3 week point, I moved up North. Things had started to subside, then all of a sudden it hit again days later! It was terrible. I had just started college again, no job, living in an apartment. No fun. Went through an array of doctors (cardio/neuro/general), Brain MRI turned out with abnormal white matter which my neurologist just shrugged off. Tested me for seizures and came out all fine. He then proceeded to give me a months worth supply of Cymbalta. Took that for about a week. Woke up with double vision and flashing light in complete darkness. Talk about scary! I got off them after that, and never went back to the neuro. I tried to ride it out, which really didn't help. I stopped attending my classes completely. I couldn't get up in the morning. I was prescribed xanax. Took some of that. Doesn't really help with the symptoms I have much, but I can get a decent night of sleep. And now one week later, I experienced heart palpitations, just flopping several times a minute, and then resulting in anxiety thinking about it. Just went back to the doc, and apparently I have mycoplasma pneunomia. But the symptom diagnosis didn't really match up to what I had/still been having. Which puts me under more stress as to not knowing if I was sick before, and now I have this! Its extremely hard to deal with this. I'm detached from reality, nothing matters, and I just literally feel like I'm going crazy. I occassionally drink/smoke, but have since stopped due to this madness. I also had smoked marijuana during all this to try to medicate myself from the anxiety, but that just made it worse and ended up having a huge panic attack during it. Any suggestions or help would greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Also, I'm 19 male, 140 pounds, and 5'7". And I also forgot to mention I have came close several times to passing out. And my heart has sharp pains, and like it's being squeezed at times. Sometimes I will have a "cold" rush of blood running through my heart continuously. Very freaky feeling. I just want to make sure I don't have heart problems, and its just anxiety. I really appreciate it, thanks.
Also wake up many times during the night, gasping for breath, or just plain breathlessness. Then I become freaked out to go back to sleep, and worry and worry. Thank you for your answers, for some reason I can't comment on each of your answers, but I really appreciate your help and care!

the link is to wiki's entry on defense mechanisms. basically, whenever someone is confronted with a mental issue, they must cope with it. one way to deal it mental problems is hychondria (which really isn't coping at all). Read down to level 4 of the coping mechanisms, there you will find healthy ways to deal with your mental issues.

Since the doctors found nothing wrong with you, maybe this is some kind of deceased relatives karma placed upon you? Or just something spiritual , try and find a Psychic a real one that can help you with your chakras and everything else* A Reiki master might be able to help you too. or possibly an Ayurvedist*
